  • language disorders :
  • developmental and acquired disorders ;
  • specific learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dysgraphia, etc.);
  • oral language disorders ;
  • written language disorders (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dysgraphia) ;
  • logical-mathematical reasoning disorders ;
  • voice and phonation disorders of organic, functional, congenital and/or acquired origin
  • speech fluency and rhythm disorders (stuttering, dysarthria, Parkinson's disease);
  • disorders of orofacial function ;
  • autism spectrum disorders (ASD) ;
  • neurological communication disorders (aphasia, etc.) ;
  • swallowing disorders ;

  • disorders of the ENT sphere (oral-lingual-facial surgery, cleft palate);
  • attention deficit disorders.

Speech therapists are increasingly involved in prevention and screening (early detection of language pathologies in children). Through her work, the speech therapist contributes to educational, professional, social and cultural reintegration; she is also involved in the pathologies of aging adults.

She works in collaboration with the patient's attending physician, family, school, professional and social environment. She intervenes by means of a preliminary assessment, which she carries out to evaluate the disorders observed, determine their cause as far as possible, clarify the diagnosis and forecast the prognosis; she determines whether or not rehabilitation is necessary.

In an individual therapeutic relationship, or through group techniques, the speech therapist uses techniques based on her clinical experience, designed to enable each individual to optimize his or her verbal or non-verbal communication skills. Speech therapy sessions are not included in the treatment package, but are generally reimbursed. Speech therapy assessments can be prescribed by the attending physician. Treatment sessions must be prescribed by a specialist (ENT, pediatrician, etc.).

If you have any questions about rehabilitation, please do not hesitate to ask your doctor, a therapist or the receptionist; they will leave us a message and we will get back to you.
